You hop off the stump and happily open the strangely "hidden in plain sight" wall door.

The Caretaker is such an odd fellow. You can't quite figure him out. He seems like 'just some old guy,' but as you look at him, you realize he might not be very old at all. He seems grumpy and stern at times, but you can't help but notice there is an overwhelming sense of kindness surrounding him. And what was that grin?
Was it friendly, or menacing? Now that you think about it, you can't tell!

As odd as The Caretaker seems, now that you're inside Muddle Manor Estate, you realize the whole place feels just as odd as he does. It's beautiful and ugly, inviting and imposing.
All you can think is that this whole place seems to be everything all at once!

As a matter of fact, in the time you took thinking about these things, The Caretaker seems to be farther away than you expected. You thought he was walking slow, but apparently he was walking rather fast.
